Spark in the Park is a two day festival that will take place at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti

  • Venue opens at 1 PM both days.

  • 21+ only 

  • Show will take place rain or shine.

What time is the festival?

Festival hours are from 1 to 9:30pm both Saturday & Sunday 

CAN i BRING MY OWN CANNABIS TO THE SHOW?

No!  Spark in the Park is a licensed cannabis temporary event. Outside cannabis products are prohibited from the venue. There will be extensive product for sale, sample, and tasting throughout the event, and you can find out more by looking out for our event schedule as the event approaches.

Is the show all ages?

Spark in the Park is Michigan's first major music festival with licensed adult use sales and consumption. Since people will be smoking in public, we must restrict entrance to only those 21+.

Will there be alcohol at the event?

No!  Spark in the Park is a licensed cannabis temporary event, and as such there are no alcohol sales or consumption permitted at the event. Please do not bring your own alcoholic beverages to the event. Any such beverages found during the security check will have to be disposed of prior to entry.

Where can I get my wristband

Spark in the Park is only open to those 21+, as an added security precaution, wristbands will be handed out to attendees at the gate and after your birthdate has been confirmed.

Can I volunteer?

Yes! There will be a volunteer Clean Team helping to keep the event grounds tidy. You can fill out our Volunteer Application here.

Can I bring a camera?

Yes, please bring your non-professional camera with an attached lens or DSLR with a single lens to the show. Just remember to tag Spark in the Park in your social posts!

Can I bring a chair/Blanket

Yes, you can bring a blanket and one folding lawn chair per attendee.

Can I bring a Cooler or other snacks & drinks?

Please do not bring coolers or outside food and drinks to Spark in the Park. We will have a variety of food and drink vendors and options available within the festival grounds. Attendees may bring a refillable water bottle, however glass containers of any kind are prohibited by Park rules.

No soliciting

Soliciting products or distributing literature by anyone not directly employed by Spark in the Park or its vendors is strictly prohibited. Any sales of products of any kind by attendees shall be grounds for expulsion from the festival grounds without refund.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • No alcohol of any kind is permitted within the Festival grounds

  • No outside cannabis products are permitted within the Festival grounds

  • No weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, pocket knives and self defense sprays

  • No flammable items or liquids including aerosols and fireworks

  • No markers or spray paint

  • No backpacks, purses, or bags exceeding 13”x17”

  • No stuffed animals

  • No outside food or beverage including alcohol

  • No glass bottles, coolers, or hydration packs

  • No glass of any kind

  • No balloons, balls, inflatable balls, frisbees or flying disks

  • No umbrellas, sleeping bags or tents

  • No bicycles, skateboards, hover-boards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles

  • No drones or unmanned aerial vehicles

  • No animals except for service animals assisting an individual with a disability. “Comfort,” “therapy” or “emotional support” animals do not meet the definition of a service animal and are not permitted entry to the Event.

  • No large chains, chained wallets or spiked jewelry

  • No laser pens, laser pointers, or similar focused light devices

  • No water guns, squirt guns, spray bottles or misters

  • No musical instruments, noisemakers or air horns

  • No professional cameras, flash cameras or video and audio recording equipment, or camera poles

  • No poles, sticks, or “totems”

  • No confetti, streamers or loose glitter (wearable cosmetics are acceptable)

  • Additional items may be prohibited at the discretion of law enforcement or security officials.
